Ingredients
- 1 Package Frozen White Sauce Pasta (My ideal choice is Lean Cuisine's Fettuccini Alfredo)
- 1/4lb peeled, deveined, tail off shrimp or langostino tails (I like to buy frozen for this)
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed
- 1/2 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp heavy cream
- (Optional) 1 Tbsp pepper flakes
Instructions
- Heat your pasta according to the instructions on the package.
- While your pasta is heating, set a pan on the stove and heat to medium. Add your butter and minced garlic, stirring until fragrant. Add your shellfish and cook gently, about 2-3m per side. Set the heat to low.
- At this point your pasta should be done. Add your pasta and heavy cream to the pan, and stir until everything is combined.
- Salt and pepper to taste and serve. Top with pepper flakes as desired.
Notes
- Pro Tip: I buy peeled garlic in bulk at Costco and freeze it in a big ziploc so I can use it whenever I need it. It defrosts very quickly, and I can even put it through the garlic press half frozen without much trouble.
- I love keeping this around as an easy freezer meal because everything required has a very long shelf life, even the heavy cream!
